Gildo Vini
In Spessa di Cividale, in the heart of the Friuli Colli Orientali, at the top of a hill, there are our house and our cellar.

A story of love for vines and wine, started by grandfather Ermenegildo, familiarly called “Gildo”, many years ago and continued by his children and grandchildren, in the name of quality and tradition.
``The more I drank, the more I loved what wine made me understand. The truth is that I love thinking about the life of a wine. Wine is a living being. And I love to imagine the year in which the grapes of a wine have grown: if it was beautifully sunny, if it rained. And I love to imagine the people who have taken care of the vine and then harvested its grapes. Because a bottle of wine is something alive, constantly evolving and acquiring complexity, until reaching its peak.`` Payne, 2004
