Vino di colore rosso rubino intenso. All’olfatto si caratterizza per l’aroma pieno che ricorda la frutta rossa matura, la prugna e i frutti di bosco, come il ribes nero e la mora. Ad arricchirlo, ulteriormente, i profumi terziari derivati dall’affinamento in tonneaux di rovere francese, come il caffè, la nocciola, il cacao ed il cioccolato. Gusto caldo, acidulo, avvolgente e leggermente tannico.
